How to transfer your backend to cPanel Hosting?

STEP 1: Create a MySQL Database

  1. Log into cPanel.
  2. Under Databases, click MySQL Databases.
  3. In the New Database field, type a name for the database.
  4. Click Create Database.
  5. Click Go Back
    .

STEP 2: Create a Database User

  1. Log into cPanel.
  2. Under Databases, click MySQL Databases.
  3. Click Jump to MySQL Users in the top-left corner of the page.
  4. Under Add New User, enter a username.
  5. Enter a password in the Password field.
  6. Click Go Back

STEP 3: Assign Privileges to Database User

  1. Log into cPanel.
  2. Under Databases, click MySQL Databases.
  3. Under Add User to Database, select a user from the User drop-down menu.
  4. From the Database drop-down menu, select the database you wish to allow the user access to.
  5. Click Add.
  6. From the MySQL Account Maintenance screen, select the privileges you wish to grant the user or select ALL PRIVILEGES.
  7. Click Make Changes.
  8. Click Go Back
  9. Check if the user has successfully connected to the database

STEP 4: Execute a MySQL Database using phpMyAdmin

  1. Log into cPanel.
  2. Under Databases, open phpMyAdmin by clicking the phpMyAdmin icon.
  3. On the left, select the database that you will be working with
  4. Click SQL in the top menu
  5. Open your AppBuilder, and go to the (IMAB) PHP Native Generator page.
  6. Copy the code in the SQL Structure session.
  7. Go back to phpMyAdmin, and paste the code in the Run SQL query/queries on database field
  8. Click Go

STEP 5: Upload source code

  1. Upload the source code using the software you like, using ftp (coreFTP, FileZilla or etc) or using File Manager on cPanel.

STEP 6: Edit the PHP code

  1. Open the code editor you like
  2. Edit the restapi.php file, adjust it to the mysql settings in cPanel.
  3. Edit the admin.php file, adjust it to the mysql settings in cPanel.
